2013 Fly In Pancake Breakfast
The 2013 Fly In and Pancake Breakfast marked the 50th Anniversary of the Bancroft Flying Club and Bancroft Community Airport. In spite of the damp weather, there were twenty (20) aircraft that flew in and over 425 people were served breakfast.
W.M. Aeroflight from Peterborough kept their two (2) Cessna 172's busy taking people up for local sight-seeing flights. There were a couple of aviation related exhibits that included Mission Aviation Fellowship, Centreline Aviation Services and W.M. Aeroflight. Also present was Brian Freymond, owner of Freymond Aviation who provides maintenance for many of the owners at the Bancroft Airport and the Clubs Cessna 172. Following are a few photos from this years milestone event and attached is the Press Release issued on July 8, 2013. |
